Much like “Grandma’s Couch”, this soap also comes with a funny spin on how it got its name. I colored this soap using pink clay, red clay, and turmeric powder. When I added my fragrance oil, it turned my yellow part of the soap into more of a pinkish yellow sunset color. This, combined with the light pink top layer made this soap look like a setting sun. Originally this soap was going to be called “Indiana Sunsets”. After asking my friends and family what to name it, my sister came up with the name “Sandy Cheeks”. Immediately I thought of the Spongebob character and because the color scheme matched I decided to stay with the name. And hence the name “Sandy Cheeks” was born!
